Douglas McLeish

Prior to joining Riverstone in 2018, Mr. McLeish was a Managing Director with Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets. He was responsible for raising investment capital from a diverse range of international investors, deploying capital in the power, renewables and infrastructure sectors in Europe and managing investments in a range of portfolio companies, including serving in board positions. Prior to this, Mr. McLeish was an Executive Director with Goldman Sachs, establishing the firm in the European power, gas and carbon trading and risk management sector.

Over his prior career, Mr. McLeish has held executive positions covering health, safety and environment, business development, asset management, trading, risk management and supply.

Mr. McLeish holds a degree in Physics with Medical Physics from the University of Exeter and a Masters in Business Administration, with Distinction, from Warwick Business School.
