Avi Bhambra, P.Eng, is a seasoned engineering professional with a diverse background in automotive and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Sr. Service Parts Engineer and Sr. Prototype Build Engineer at Rivian since March 2020, Avi brings expertise in reverse engineering and 3D modeling developed at Westpower from October 2015 to March 2020 as a Mechanical Engineer focused on pump repair. Previous experience includes a brief role as a Class A Surface Modeler at Tesla Motors, where training in IcemSurf enhanced skills in creating automotive surfaces. Prior to this, Avi worked as a Drilling Engineer at Shell, leading a dual fuel project to optimize drilling rig engines, and gained practical automotive experience as a Mechanic/Auto Body Tech at AAA Auto Repair for eight years. Avi holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
