Steve Martin

Steve Martin is an experienced supply chain and purchasing professional currently serving as the Director of Global Supply Chain Program Management at Rivian since 2019. In this role, responsibilities include collaborating with Direct Procurement on purchasing deliverables and developing sourcing strategies for the organization. Prior to Rivian, Steve spent over two decades at Ford Motor Company, where roles included Purchasing Director for Vehicle Program Management and various senior purchasing management positions focused on powertrain programs and exterior commodities. Steve began the career as a Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer and advanced through multiple purchasing roles. Educational credentials include an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
