Jerin Joy

Jerin Joy has a diverse work experience that spans over multiple companies and roles. They currently work as a Software Engineer at Rivos Inc. since October 2021. Prior to that, Jerin worked at Apple for a significant period of time, where they held the positions of Kernel Engineer from August 2018 to October 2021 and CPU Design Engineer from July 2009 to July 2018. At Apple, Jerin built various tools related to CPU design, such as architecture simulators, pseudo random test generators, and silicon bringup environments. These tools played a crucial role in the development of multiple generations of high-performance CPUs. Before joining Apple, Jerin worked as a Hardware Engineer at Sun Microsystems from August 2004 to July 2009 and as an Intern at Sify Technologies Limited from May 2003 to July 2003.

Jerin Joy obtained their B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Jerin attended the institute from 2000 to 2004 to complete their undergraduate education.
