Arleen McGichen

Arleen McGichen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in audit and risk management. Currently serving as the Group Chief Audit Officer at Royal London and a director at the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, Arleen also plays a role as a lay member of the Glasgow University Finance Committee. Previous positions include Head of Audit Enterprise Functions and Director of Risk Assurance at Virgin Money UK PLC, as well as various leadership roles at CYBG PLC and Ignis Asset Management, where responsibilities included developing risk-based internal audit strategies. Arleen holds multiple qualifications, including an MSc in Risk Management and certificates from the Association of Corporate Treasurers and the Institute of Internal Auditors UK & Ireland.
