Kara Bonis, CPA, is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in the not-for-profit sector. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at RLB LLP since January 2020, Kara specializes in audits and takes on leadership roles in training new staff. Previous positions include Staff Accountant at RLB LLP, Payroll Processor at BDO, and Tax/Accounting Clerk at Malison Accounting and Tax Services. In addition to accounting roles, Kara has a background in education as a Tutor and Standardized Patient at Conestoga College, and has held several community-focused positions, including Program Coordinator for Two Rivers Neighbourhood Group. Kara holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a diploma in Accounting from Conestoga College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.Hons) in International Development from the University of Guelph.
