Asanka Gunasekara

Asanka Gunasekara (PhD) currently serves as a Lecturer in HRM/People Analytics at RMIT University since October 2023. Prior to this role, Asanka held various positions at Swinburne University of Technology from 2010 to November 2023, including Lecturer, Sessional Academic, and Sessional Academic while completing a PhD. Additionally, Asanka worked as an e-learning advisor at Swinburne Online from January 2013 to June 2016, and gained experience in finance as a Financial Accountant at Australian Unity and an Accountant at Plum. Asanka's earlier career includes serving as the Head of Human Resources at People's Leasing & Finance PLC from 2003 to 2006. Asanka's educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Resources and Diversity Management, a Training and Assessment certification from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Human Resources Management from the University of Colombo.
