Sam Clowney

Sam Clowney is a seasoned leader in program development and partnership management, currently serving as Chief Program Officer at Road to Hire since April 2022. Prior to this role, Sam held various leadership positions at Generation USA from 2018 to April 2022, including Managing Director of US Partnerships and Program Coordinator, where significant funding and programming achievements were accomplished. Sam's earlier experience includes a decade with Teach For America, focusing on teacher leadership and diversity initiatives, as well as roles at Wofford College overseeing multicultural affairs. Sam began a career in education as a teacher in Atlanta Public Schools, after earning an M.Div. from Emory University and a B.A. from Wofford College.
