The Robert C. Byrd Clinic (RCBC) is a not-for-profit primary care clinic in Lewisburg, WV that also serves as the faculty practice for the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM). RCBC was founded in 1976 as the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine Clinic, Inc. and was housed in the south wing of WVSOM. It served as a faculty practice and teaching site for WVSOM students and professors.RCBC has over 30 physicians, nurse practitioners, residents, and interns on staff that practice in the following specialties; Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Women’s Health, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Neuromuscular Medicine, Acute Care, Medical Acupuncture, Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, Nephrology, and Proctology.
