Abhishek Maloo is a Principal Engineer at Robinhood, leading the Uber Tech team for the central Data and Machine Learning platform since May 2023, overseeing various infrastructures including storage, data, experimentation, and governance. Prior experience includes serving as the Group Tech Lead for Realtime Infrastructure at Twitter from January 2020 to April 2023, managing a large team responsible for storage and messaging infrastructures. Earlier, at Facebook from December 2014 to January 2020, Maloo worked on critical storage solutions for Instagram and developed a managed realtime stream processing service. Maloo began a career at Intuit as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to tax and accounting software, and also has experience in web development at Platform D and enterprise applications at CSC. Maloo holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University.
