Jan Hanca

Jan Hanca is a C++ Software Engineer at Robotec.ai since May 2023, focusing on end-to-end simulation solutions for robotics, including sensor simulation and robot orchestration, while also leading projects and managing teams. Previously, Jan served as an Embedded Software Engineer at Tietoevry, developing audio processing pipelines for Android automotive systems, and held the position of Senior R&D Engineer at Samsung Electronics Polska, where research on 3D spatial mapping algorithms was conducted. Jan's earlier experience includes roles as an R&D Engineer in computer vision at Sony Depthsensing Solutions, a PhD candidate and R&D engineer at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and a software and hardware developer at Hengen Ingenieurbuero GbR. Jan holds a PhD in Applied Computer Science and multiple master's degrees in Electronics, Telecommunications, and Applied Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Poznan University of Technology.
