Dimitris Chrysostomou

Dimitris Chrysostomou has a long history of work experience. Dimitris started their career in 2004 as a Trainee Engineer at Kavala Oil S.A. and then at Phosporic Fertilizers Industries S.A. in 2005. In 2007, they began working as a Researcher at Democritus University of Thrace and held this role for four years. In 2012, they became a Researcher at the Centre for Research and Technology (CERTH) where they developed algorithms to autonomously determine AUV's trajectories. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Lecturer under contract at the Technological Institute of Kavala (TEI of Kavala). Dimitris then moved to Aalborg University where they held the roles of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Postdoctoral Researcher. In 2019, they became Co-Founder at Robotto Co.

Dimitris Chrysostomou completed their PhD in Computer Vision from Democritus University of Thrace (D.U.Th.) between 2007 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Diploma in Production and Management Engineering from the same university between 2001 and 2006.
