Maxim Claeys has a diverse work experience in the field of deep learning and research. Maxim started their career at Ghent University in 2012 as a PhD student, where they worked until 2017. Following that, they joined the University of Antwerp as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are working at Robovision as a Deep Learning Engineer, starting in September 2018.
Maxim Claeys obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Ghent University in the years 2007 to 2010. Maxim then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil engineering - Computer science: Software Engineering at Ghent University from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, Maxim began their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) studies in Computer Science Engineering at Ghent University, which they completed in 2017. During the same period, from 2012 to 2017, they also pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science at the University of Antwerp.
Furthermore, Maxim Claeys obtained a certification in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in February 2018.
