Conor Roughneen

Conor Roughneen is the founder and managing director of Roc Search. Conor has over 20 years of experience in recruitment and has held various management positions in the industry.

Conor started their career as an apprentice at GSH in 1997. Conor quickly moved up the ranks and became the Facilities Management Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing the building HVAC, electrical engineering, and air conditioning systems.

In 2001, Conor left GSH to join Huxley Associates as the South West Contract Recruitment Manager. Conor spent five years at Huxley before leaving to start Roc Search in 2006.

Roc Search is a leading recruitment agency with over 250 employees across 10 offices in the UK, US, and Europe. The company specializes in placing candidates in IT, engineering, and professional services roles.

Stephen Pye - Head of Operations, Matthew Berney - Business Manager, and Jacob Rosenthal - Senior Business Manager report to Conor Roughneen.
