Lynette Baker has extensive experience in government and community relations, research, marketing, and media operations. Currently serving at the Rochester Institute of Technology as part of the Government and Community Relations team since July 2021, Lynette focuses on fostering relationships with public officials and stakeholders. Previously, as Research Director for 13WHAM ABC/FOX Rochester from August 2019 to June 2021, Lynette managed multiple research projects, produced actionable insights, and supported sales efforts. Lynette also held the position of Director of Marketing and Community Outreach at Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester from November 2010 to July 2019, overseeing public relations and community engagement. Earlier roles include Program Director at WHEC-TV, Freelance Writer at Cynopsis Media, and Director of Operations at Time Warner Cable, where strategic marketing and public awareness initiatives were developed. Lynette began a career in education as an Adjunct Professor of English in China and holds a BA in Radio/Television from Marietta College.
