Scott McVean serves as the Senior Associate Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at the Rochester Institute of Technology since August 2005, overseeing program support, budget management, NCAA compliance, and the administration of Men’s and Women’s Division 1 Ice Hockey teams, while supervising full-time staff and managing capital projects. Earlier roles at RIT included Associate Director and Assistant Director, focusing on operational management and game-day activities for athletic events. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Football Coach at the University of Rochester, where responsibilities included coaching, recruiting, and game preparation. Scott McVean holds a Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration from The College at Brockport and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Studies from Ithaca College.
