Marie-Claire Barker

Marie-Claire Barker is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive experience in talent management and organizational development. Currently serving as the Global Chief People Officer at GroupM since January 2022, Marie-Claire previously held the role of Global Chief Talent Officer at Edelman, overseeing talent solutions during critical organizational phases and enhancing inclusivity and diversity practices. Prior to Edelman, Marie-Claire was the Global Chief Talent Officer at Wavemaker and Ogilvy & Mather, where efforts included global talent strategies and employee retention. With foundational experience as Human Resources Director at Virgin Media Business, Marie-Claire has a strong academic background in Human Resources Management from Kingston University.
