Olya Yarychkivska is a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Rockefeller University since March 2019, focusing on the study of non-apoptotic linker cell death (LCD) in C. elegans and mammals under the guidance of Dr. Olya Yarychkivska completed a Ph.D. in Genetics and Development with a concentration in Epigenetics at Columbia University Medical Center from September 2009 to January 2017, where significant research included the molecular regulation of DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1) and its identification as a novel de novo methyltransferase. Prior research experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Researcher at Drexel University, where projects involved gene regulation and yeast mutant strains, and as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Fox Chase Cancer Center, where Olya Yarychkivska contributed to studies on zinc effects on ASV Integrase and viral vector cloning. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Drexel University and an Associate of Science in Health Services from Manor College.
