Stephen Alsa

Stephen Alsa has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Stephen has worked as a Deputy Director, Campaign Prospect Research at The Rockefeller University since December 2022. Prior to that, they held positions as Associate Director and Assistant Director of Development Research at the same institution. Stephen has also worked at The Metropolitan Museum of Art as a Development Officer and Associate Development Officer for Prospect Research. Additionally, they have experience as a Development Officer at New York University, Deputy Director & Head of Development at the Swiss Institute Contemporary Art NY, and Associate Director of Library Relations at ARTstor. Stephen has also worked in roles such as Member of Chapel Choir at Seton Hall University, an Editorial Assistant at Oxford University Press, a Substitute Teacher at Paramus Public Schools, a Slide Curator at Rutgers University, and an Assistant to the Chair of the Department of Art & Music at Seton Hall University.

Stephen Alsa has a Master of Arts degree in Museum Professions, with a concentration in Museum Education, from Seton Hall University. Stephen also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, with a minor in Music Performance, from the same university. In addition, they had the opportunity to pursue graduate studies in Art History as a Graduate Fellow at Rutgers University.
