Loïc Poncin

Loïc Poncin is an accomplished GNC Engineer at Rocket Factory Augsburg since April 2022, where responsibilities include the development and validation of a 6-DOF flight simulator and the implementation of GNC algorithms into flight software. Previously, Loïc served as a Flight Safety Engineer, optimizing a Flight Analysis Tool for launch licensing in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration requirements. Prior experience includes a research internship at Auburn University focused on trajectory design for NASA's Artemis program, and a visiting research position at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory investigating Mars atmospheric data. Additional internships at the Max-Planck Institute for Solar System Research and Thales further contributed to Loïc's expertise in aerospace dynamics and systems analysis. Loïc holds a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile.
