Senior Thermal Engineer I at Rocket Lab

Daniel Arevalo is a highly skilled thermal engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Currently serving as a Senior Thermal Engineer I at Rocket Lab since April 2025, Daniel leads thermal efforts for the RL Pioneer satellite platform and is involved in the NASA ESCAPADE mission to Mars. Prior roles at Rocket Lab include Spacecraft Thermal Engineer and Thermal Engineering Intern, where contributions included thermal controls materials research and development, mission analysis, and facility oversight. Previously, Daniel held the position of Thermal Engineer at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, leading the development of innovative thermal control technologies for CubeSats. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, attained in May 2021.
