Lachlan Fitzpatrick is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in guidance, navigation, and control systems, currently serving as a Senior Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer at Rocket Lab since November 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a Guidance, Navigation and Control Software Engineer and as CEO of Math Mate, where responsibilities spanned pitching, software development, and business strategy. Lachlan has also served as a Mechatronic Engineering Tutor at The University of Queensland, where leading practical sessions and grading students were key duties. Academic achievements include research scholarships focused on trajectory optimization and tactile sensors.
