Matthew McCarthy

Matthew McCarthy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as the Director of Credit at Rocket Pro since August 2018. In this role, Matthew has successfully built and developed a cross-functional credit team dedicated to improving FICO scores for brokers nationwide, which enhances product qualification, pricing, and mortgage insurance options. Prior to that, Matthew held the position of Presidents Club Credit Consultant at Quicken Loans, where responsibilities included directing communication efforts to help clients rebuild credit files and coaching borrowers to achieve higher credit scores. Matthew's background also includes roles as a Credit Consultant and Mortgage Banker at Quicken Loans, with a successful passing of the National SAFE Exam and national licensing with the NMLS. Matthew’s career began at The Home Depot as a Corporate Merchandiser. An alumnus of Wayne State University and Saginaw Valley State University, Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching.
