Karen Harding possesses a diverse professional background with extensive experience in education and account management. Currently serving as a Substitute Teacher at Rockwall ISD since February 2022, Karen previously worked as an Accounts Manager at MTH Construction Group, Inc. from January 2003 to March 2022, where responsibilities included liaising with clients and suppliers, as well as preparing estimates and accounting reports using QuickBooks Pro. Prior experience includes managing financial records and payroll for First United Methodist Church and consulting at Southwest Securities to enhance account accuracy during system changes. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University-Commerce and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Eastfield College, complemented by a high school diploma from Skyline High.

Rockwall ISD is a Texas public school district serving more than 15,000 students in the Rockwall, Heath and Fate communities. We have two high schools, three middle schools, 14 elementary schools, one alternative academy and one CTE academy. Rockwall High School and Rockwall-Heath High School are both 5A schools with many award winning academic, vocational and athletic programs.
