Kristie Farrer

Kristie Farrer has a strong background in teaching agriculture science. Kristie has worked as a Lead Agriculture Science Teacher at Rockwall ISD since 2018, where they are responsible for general classroom management, lesson planning, and overseeing various agricultural programs. Prior to that, they worked as an Agriculture Science Teacher at BROWNSBORO ISD from 2012 to 2018, with similar job duties and responsibilities. Kristie also gained experience as a student teacher at Cleburne High School in 2012, where they taught various courses and assisted with judging teams and programs. Before their teaching career, they served as a Residential Leader at Tarleton State University from 2009 to 2011, where their responsibilities included communication, event coordination, and office work.

Kristie Farrer received their Bachelor's of Science in Agricultural Services and Development from Tarleton State University, where they focused on Agricultural Education. Kristie attended Tarleton State University from 2008 to 2012. Prior to attending university, Kristie completed their high school education at Marion High School.

In addition to their academic degrees, Kristie has obtained several certifications. Kristie obtained a certification in Art Grades EC-12 from the Texas Education Agency in May 2013. Kristie also obtained a certification in Agricultural Science and Technology Grades 6-12 from the Texas Education Agency in May 2012. Furthermore, Kristie has an additional certification in Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities (PPR) EC-12, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
