Ahmed Sayed Ahmed currently serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Milwaukee School of Engineering since March 2013, teaching courses in electrical machinery, renewable energy, power converter applications, smart grids, and circuit analysis. In addition, Ahmed has been with Rockwell Automation since July 2007, progressing from a Senior Control Engineer to a Senior Principal Engineer, leading various firmware control design activities for motor-drive systems and overseeing design and implementation for the Active Front End product line. Earlier career experience includes positions at Eaton Innovation Center focusing on DSP-based control algorithms for hybrid microgrids, as well as a Senior Electrical Engineer role at Rashpetco-British Gas where management responsibilities included leading a team of engineers and technicians. Ahmed holds a Ph.D. in Power Electronics/Motor-drives from Marquette University and an M.Sc. in Power Electronics from Cairo University.
