Jonno Turner has a diverse range of experience in various industries. Jonno currently works as the Director of SailGP at ROCKWOOL Group, where they manage the ROCKWOOL Denmark SailGP Team. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Communications for Denmark SailGP Team at SailGP. Jonno has also held positions at The Ocean Race, where they were the Head of Marketing, Creative, and Digital, and at Red Bull Media House as a Creative Strategy Consultant. Furthermore, Jonno has worked as the Head of Digital and International Content Strategy for the Stockholm Åre 2026 Olympic Games bid at the Swedish Olympic Committee. Jonno has also had freelance roles at DFL Digital Sports GmbH, BBC, and Twitter, in addition to being named a rising star at The Clio Awards. Jonno has demonstrated expertise in marketing, communications, digital content, and strategy within the sports industry.
Jonno Turner received an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management in 2018. Prior to that, they completed a BA (Hons) in Media and Public Relations with Journalism from Sheffield Hallam University from 2005 to 2008, specializing in writing.
