Marek Szywała

Marek Szywała is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in treasury and cash management, currently serving as the Head of Group Treasury and Investor Relations at ROCKWOOL Group since March 2017. Marek has successfully led various roles within the organization, including Group Treasury Manager and Banking and Treasury Manager, where responsibilities included setting up a banking team, overseeing the migration of cash management processes across 30 entities in over 20 European countries, and leading key projects such as the Treasury Intelligence Solution and Operational Excellence initiatives. Prior to ROCKWOOL, Marek worked at Carlsberg Group in multiple treasury-related positions, gaining expertise in cash management and financial reporting. Marek holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Corporate Finance and Accountancy from Poznan University of Economics and Business.
