Peter Armstrong has extensive work experience in various roles across different companies. Peter is currently serving as the Board Chair for The Nature Trust of British Columbia since June 2023. In addition, Peter was a Board Member for Invictus Properties Inc. since May 1997 and is currently a Board Member for Alder Bay Equity Partners since May 2016. Peter has also played a key role in the Armstrong Group - Rocky Mountaineer, where they are one of the founders since January 1990. As part of Rocky Mountaineer, Peter served as the Interim President & CEO from February 2021 to December 2021, leading the company through rebuilding and preparing for the reopening of the tourism industry post-pandemic.
Peter Armstrong's education history is as follows: Peter attended Cecil Rhodes Elementary School from 1964 to 1965. Peter then graduated from St. George's School in 1972. Following that, they pursued a first year hotel management program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 1972 to 1973. From 1974 to 2026, they studied commerce for a year and a half at The University of British Columbia. Additionally, they completed the EMBA program in business administration and management at Harvard WPO CEO Program from 2010 to 2019. Moreover, they attended the EMBA/YPO/WPO/CEO one week course for ten years at Harvard Business School from 2009 to 2019.
