Kristin Voll has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Kristin started their career as a journalist at Bergensavisen AS from 1993 to 1995. Kristin then worked as a journalist and sub-editor at Dagsavisen from 1995 to 1998. Kristin joined DNB in 2000, where they held positions such as Adviser in Corporate Communications, Staff Manager in Corporate Communications, and Adviser in External Relations until 2009. From 2009 to 2016, they served as the Sustainability Manager at DNB, focusing on responsible investments and environmental and social risk management. In 2016, Kristin transitioned to the Norwegian Red Cross and took on the role of Project Manager Corporate Relations and CSR until 2017. Kristin currently holds the position of Managing Director at a donation service, which is a subsidiary of the Norwegian Red Cross.

Kristin Voll obtained a Bachelor's degree in Media & Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London, between 1990 and 1993. Following that, from 1997 to 2001, they pursued a Master's Degree in Media Studies at the University of Oslo (UiO), earning the degree of Cand. polit. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2017.

En moderne hjelpeorganisasjon Norges Røde Kors er en moderne hjelpeorganisasjon med ca 150 000 medlemmer. Organisasjonen ble stiftet den 22. september 1865 av statsminister Frederik Stang, og er en av de eldste nasjonale Røde Kors-foreningene. I 1907 ble den autorisert av Det Kgl. Forsvarsdepartement som en frivillig hjelpeforening for den militære saniteten i tilfelle krig.
