Laura Cooper

Laura Cooper, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Laura began their career as an Accountant at R.R. Donnelley in 2011 and worked there until 2012. Subsequently, they joined Deloitte as an Audit Assistant and later as an Internal Controls Intern from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, Laura worked as a Staff Accountant at Vaco.

Moving forward, they joined Rogers Group Inc. in 2015, initially as a Senior Accountant. Laura then took on the role of Accounting Manager from 2016 to 2019. During this time, they gained valuable experience in financial reporting and management.

In 2019, Laura joined Greater Dickson Gas Authority as an Assistant Director Of Finance, where they made significant contributions to financial planning and analysis. After two years, they moved to Randolph Business Resources as a Controller for a brief period in 2021.

In the same year, Laura joined Legacy South as an Accounting Manager, where they displayed their expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Currently, they hold the position of Corporate Accounting Manager at Rogers Group Inc. since 2022, showcasing their ability to lead and manage a finance team.

Laura Cooper, CPA, has a strong educational background in accounting and business. Laura completed their Master's degree in Accountancy from Belmont University from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Tennessee State University, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Laura also holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Information Systems from Nashville State Community College, which they earned between 2005 and 2009.

Additionally, Laura Cooper obtained their CPA certification in June 2014 from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).
