Michael Navalta has extensive work experience in media sales and account management. Michael started their career as a Broadcast Negotiator at MediaCom Canada in 1997 and then worked as a Senior Broadcast Negotiator at Ogilvy from 1999 to 2001. Following that, they joined CBC as an Account Manager from 2001 to 2006. Michael then served as a National Account Executive at Shaw Communications from 2006 to 2009. Currently, they hold the position of Media Sales Lead at Rogers Sports & Media, starting from December 2009.
Michael Navalta (He/Him) attended Humber College from 1994 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Advertising Media Sales through the College program. Michael has also obtained additional certifications in topics such as "Branding Your Authentic Self," "How Marketers Collect and Use Your Data," and "Startup Stories: Selling $100K of T-Shirts with No Inventory" from LinkedIn in 2021.
