Andrey Obolensky

Andrey Obolensky has extensive experience in business development and strategic sales across multiple industries. Currently serving as Head of Business Development and Head of Strategic Markets & Accounts at Rohde & Schwarz since February 2019, Andrey leads high-performing teams and drives the division's sales strategy and market intelligence initiatives. Previous roles include Head of Regional Office at thyssenkrupp in Latin America, Vice President Sales at ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems, and Sales Director for East Europe & Central Asia at General Dynamics European Land Systems. Early career experience includes consultancy work at Cometal S.A. and service as a Captain in the German Airforce. Andrey holds an International Executive MBA from IE Business School and a Diploma in Educational Studies from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität.
