Christian Lauerer

Christian Lauerer is an experienced professional specializing in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and automated driving technologies. Currently serving as the Market Segment Manager for Automotive - ADAS/AD at Rohde & Schwarz since March 2024, Lauerer is responsible for defining strategy and managing partnerships in RADAR and LIDAR testing. Prior experience includes multiple leadership roles at Expleo Group from February 2017 to February 2024, where responsibilities encompassed ADAS solutions, sensing, predictive safety, and vehicle safety. Lauerer previously held the position of Scientific and Technical Director at CARISSMA and the Institute for Vehicle Safety Systems at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt from August 2010 to January 2017. Lauerer holds a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Electrical and Information Technology with a focus on Autonomous Vehicles from Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt.
