Baris Acar is a seasoned Quant Developer currently at Rokos Capital Management since July 2018. With extensive experience in the financial sector, Baris held a VP position at Barclays from May 2006 to July 2018, leading teams in critical projects such as the development of a C# market data retrieval system for regulatory reporting and a Java-based exotic equity derivatives risk management system. Prior roles included AVP at Credit Suisse, specializing in C++ and VBA development for equity derivatives risk systems, and a summer internship at Roke Manor Research. Baris earned a First Class MEng (Hons) in Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge and completed A-levels in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths, and General Studies at Loughborough Grammar School.
