Josef Klafka

Josef Klafka is a Senior Software Engineer at Rokt since February 2023, contributing to the development of the Experimentation Platform that enhances user experiences for advertisers and eCommerce partners. Previously, Josef worked as a Software Engineer on the same platform, as well as on the Ads team, focusing on fullstack web development. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where Josef specialized in backend engineering for the data privacy team within Alexa AI, and as a Software Developer at Epic, involved in backend data infrastructure for clinical applications. Josef's career began as a Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University, studying cognitive science and natural language processing, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Chicago. Josef holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Linguistics from the University of Chicago.
