Tom de Haan has a diverse work experience. Tom is the founder of FarmersUnitedNL where they are focused on building a network for smart sustainable farming in Holland. Prior to this, they were a member of the dairy cooperative FrieslandCampina. Before that, they worked at Rolan Robotics B.V. as a Senior Applied Robotics Engineer, where they designed concepts for automating industrial processes and supported project teams. Tom also served as a Project Manager at Rolan Robotics B.V. from 2003 to 2011. In addition to their professional career, Tom is also a co-owner of a dairy farm.

Tom de Haan attended Bernardus Alfrink College from 1991 to 1997, where they obtained their VWO diploma. Following this, they pursued a degree in Agricultural Engineering at Wageningen University & Research from 1997 to 2003, earning their Msc.
