Mark Chapman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data protection and privacy management. Currently serving as the Senior Data Protection Manager at Rolls-Royce SMR since October 2022, Mark is focused on creating a scalable privacy program suitable for a startup environment. Previously, as the Senior Global Data Privacy Manager at Sophos, Mark led the establishment of a comprehensive data and risk-based privacy framework. Mark also held multiple positions at Cadent Gas Limited, including Project Manager for GDPR Implementation and Assurance Specialist, where responsibilities included compliance strategies and process improvements. Additionally, Mark has a background in change management and operations, having worked at National Grid and various roles in independent contracting and earlier employment in the service industry. Mark holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology (Hons) from the University of Bath.
