Sonya Jent has extensive work experience with State Farm Insurance companies. Sonya first joined the company in 1993 as an Auto Claims Superintendent. From 1994 to 1999, they served as the Regional Public Affairs Manager, overseeing operations in Alabama and Mississippi. In 1999, they became the Director of the Customer Response Center and Bank Response Center until 2001. Sonya then held the position of Division Manager for Health Operations from 2002 to 2004. In 2006, they became the Vice President of Operations and later took on the role of Vice President of Operations Multicultural Business Development from 2007. In 2013, they were appointed as the VP of Operations for Enterprise Diversity & Inclusion.
Sonya Jent attended the University of Mississippi's School of Business Administration from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing.
