Maksym also has experience as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Ukroboronprom, where they worked on the production and modernization of equipment for the aerospace industry. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Senior M&A, Investment, and Strategic Partnerships Manager at NOOSPHERE, Head of Production Planning and Control at INTERPIPE, and Project Manager at 3v&H s.r.o. Maksym began their career as an Engineer at the Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant PJSC.
Maksym Petrenko holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics from Masaryk University Brno, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Following this, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in public administration at Kharkiv State Academy of Railway Transport, studying from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their MBA, Maksym Petrenko obtained an Engineer's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, where they studied from 2006 to 2011.
