Dean Shock has over 28 years of experience in software development and engineering. Dean began their career in 1993 as a Software Development Manager at CAMAX, followed by a similar role at SDRC. In 1997, they moved to PSC Scanning Inc. as a Software Development Manager. In 2000, they joined Symantec as a Senior IT Manager and was responsible for the development and deployment of Symantec's Norton Anti-virus Renewal Center Application. Dean also provided strategic direction, resource plans, and coordinated the construction of several multi-million dollar programs. In 2006, they moved to Biometric Access Company as a Software Development Manager and was responsible for managing a development team of 15 Software Engineers. In 2012, they joined Crossroads Systems as a Senior Product Engineering Manager and managed the software development and quality assurance teams for new development and sustaining engineering. In 2013, they moved to Cisco Systems as a Senior Software Development Manager and filled the role of Scrum Master in the development of the user identity feature for the Next Generation Firewall (NGFW). In 2017, they joined Q2 Banking as a Director, Software Development and helped grow a company with the charter of enabling community banks and credit unions with a highly compelling, unified online, voice, mobile and tablet banking set of services from within a single application. In 2021, they joined Roostify as Vice President Of Engineering.
Dean Shock completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Wright State University between 1984 and 1988.
