Melissa Ankin

Melissa Ankin currently serves as Senior Manager of Client Operations at Root Capital, having progressed through roles including Senior Lending Operations Officer and Lending Operations Officer since August 2018. Prior to this, Melissa accumulated a decade of experience at Accion East, where responsibilities included managing business operations, overseeing IT transitions, and developing performance dashboards. Melissa’s earlier roles involved significant client-facing responsibilities, redesigning operational processes such as the toll-free phone tree, and serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA at the South Shore YMCA. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Global Studies and International Affairs from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
