Stephen Pain is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Rothesay since June 2018, Stephen previously held the position of Fixed Income Head of Technology at Citadel Investment Group Ltd from June 2005 to March 2018, where responsibilities included leading the Global Fixed Income technology and quantitative development team, and delivering critical risk, P&L, and portfolio construction tools. Prior to that, Stephen worked as an Associate Developer at Deutsche Bank from September 2002 to May 2005 and began a career in technology as a Developer at DERA from 1998 to 1999. Stephen holds a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College London, obtained between 1999 and 2002.
