Daniel Thompson is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in designing and prototyping innovative machinery for science museum exhibits. Currently serving as Lead Exhibit Engineer at Roto since January 2019, Daniel manages multiple project timelines and budgets while overseeing the development and installation of complex systems. Previous roles include Mechanical Engineer at Cincinnati Test Systems, where Daniel designed custom leak testing machines, and a Design Intern at Miami University Geothermal Plant, where Daniel created an interactive model to showcase sustainable energy systems. Daniel's background includes internships focusing on material handling design, theatrical set construction, and participation in Disney's engineering programs, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Miami University.
