Caitlin Villareal is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in project engineering and systems design. Currently serving as Project Engineer II at AMETEK Rotron since March 2022, Caitlin demonstrates expertise in hardware integration for satellite systems, particularly with a focus on the Landsat 9 mission. Previously, at Adaptive Launch Solutions, Caitlin contributed to satellite integration and developed instructional procedures within ISO-certified environments. As the Director of Resource Management Projects at Engineers for a Sustainable World, Caitlin led sustainable engineering initiatives and resource acquisition. An educational background from UC San Diego culminated in a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2021, complemented by practical internships that reinforced a commitment to innovative design and sustainable practices.
