Roundabout Theatre
Jason Jacobs is a seasoned playwright and theatre director with extensive freelance experience since 1998, notable works include "Miss Blanche Tells It All" and "Another Horatio Alger Story." As a Master Teaching Artist at Roundabout Theatre Company since 2008, Jason leads workshops and contributes to educational resources. Previous roles include curriculum developer at Amplify, theatre director at Metropolitan Playhouse, Post Theatre Company, and Vermont Stage Co., and as a founding co-artistic director at Theatre Askew, promoting queer perspectives in theatre. Jason also served as an acting instructor at Williamstown Theatre Festival. Jason holds an M.F.A. in Theatre/Direction from Columbia University and a BA in English Literature from Yale University.
