Andrew Chilvers

Andrew Chilvers is the Head of Climate and Sustainability Policy at the Royal Academy of Engineering, leading a team that provides expert advice on climate and sustainability across a partnership of 42 professional engineering organizations. Alongside this role, Andrew serves as an Honorary Lecturer at University College London and previously held positions as a Junior Policy Fellow at the Centre for Science and Policy, University of Cambridge, and Assistant Editor for Engineering Studies. With extensive experience in policy advising, sustainable infrastructure, and engineering research, Andrew's academic background includes a Ph.D. focused on the normative aspects of engineering practices and a Master's in Environmental Engineering.
