Emily Spearman CEng FEI FWES PIEMA currently serves as the Head of Technology and Methodology for Offshore Wind at bp, where responsibility includes building the engineering team for this expanding sector of the low carbon business. Additional roles include Visiting Professor in Renewable Energy at Loughborough University, Ambassador for POWERful Women, and memberships on various advisory boards and committees, including Supergen Offshore Renewable Energy Hub and the Energy Institute. Emily's prior experience encompasses positions at Ørsted, where leadership of QHSE in the UK renewable energy sector was pivotal, and environmental engineering roles at Scott Wilson and Parsons Brinckerhoff. Emily holds an MBA in Global Energy from Warwick Business School and a BEng in Environmental Engineering and Resource Management from the University of Nottingham.
