Justin O'Neill

Justin O'Neill is an experienced Health and Safety Manager currently leading the health and safety team at Royal BAM Group nv for the Cross River Rail - Woolloongabba Station Precinct. With a strong background in managing health and safety functions across various major projects, Justin has previously held the role of Manager Health and Safety at Cross River Rail, overseeing multiple project packages while navigating complex legal and political environments. Prior to this, Justin served as the State Principal Inspector for Major Projects at Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, focusing on improving safety performance in significant projects throughout the state. Justin's extensive career includes positions in safety management and operations at BHP Billiton Daunia Coal Mine and Bechtel, as well as foundational roles in property development and electrical engineering. Academic achievements include an Advanced Diploma in Work Health & Safety and a Diploma in Quality Auditing from Churchill, along with a Certificate IV in Engineering/Electrical from TAFE QLD.
