Casper van Westbroek has a diverse work experience in the engineering and mechanical field. Casper started their career in 2006 at Hörchner & Hammersma Engineering as an Engineer/Designer. Casper then moved to GustoMSC in 2007, where they worked as an Engineer, specializing in designing and delivering large offshore cranes and equipment. In 2011, Casper joined SBM Schiedam as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, responsible for the design and engineering of mooring equipment for FPSO's, with expertise in riser pull-in systems, winches, and cranes. Since April 2013, they have been the technical expert for installation winches at SBM Schiedam. Currently, Casper is working at IHC Services (part of Royal IHC) as a Lead Engineer in the Life-cycle Engineering department.

From 2004 to 2008, Casper van Westbroek studied Mechanical Engineering at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, earning an Ing. degree.
